MD-IT began as a technology company with the goal of replacing medical transcription. Our product included front-end speech recognition coupled with a basic EMR. After several years of working with clients to implement our solution, we realized we had it only partially right.

What were we missing? Transcription services. We learned that technology is a good choice, but not the only choice. We found that many physicians prefer to dictate their patient notes and with good reason. It is efficient. It is accurate. It is cost effective.

We responded by adding transcription services to integrate with our own technology. Today, physicians can pick the balance of software and service that fits their personal style, while providing your practice with a uniform document management system.
