The MD-IT Platform is a secure, web-based transcription management system that handles transport, workflow, delivery and archiving of transcriptions. Think of it as a central hub that coordinates the flow of patient information among physician offices, transcriptionists, insurance companies and computer systems, all in an environment that ensures security and privacy of patient health information.

Connect is our documentation exchange system for sending, receiving and storing dictations, transcriptions and reports. Complete is our document creation system for producing chart notes real time using optional speech recognition or template-aided keyboard entry.

Choose your dictation method. Use Connect to dictate by phone or create a digital voice file using a handheld digital voice recorder or software voice recorder. Use Complete to create a completed Microsoft® Word chart note using speech-to-text speech recognition or powerful FleXlates with auto-fills. Use our toll free number for phone dictation or our secure web server to send digital files. Use the combination of dictation methods that fits your practice style.

Choose your transcription method. Use Connect to send completed voice files to transcription for processing. Select standard 24 or 48 hour turnaround to receive completed documents by 5pm the next day, or STAT turnaround to receive documents within 4 hours. Use Complete to create documents in Microsoft Word, and then edit and sign off directly or send to transcription for final editing. Specific transcriptionists are assigned to your practice to ensure continuity of service.

Choose your access method. Log on to the MD-IT Platform to view a task list of all dictations entered into the system, or receive email notification of all documents received and completed. Access documents on-line and review, edit, send back for corrections, approve and sign, or download and print documents for physician review and sign off. Use our searchable repository of clinical documents (dictations, transcriptions, reports) to access your records online 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Our secure, role-based access lets users complete tasks using only the modules they need.

Choose your distribution method. With the MD-IT Platform, you can print, fax or email digital documents right from your desktop. Share records with referring and consulting physicians, insurance companies and other authorized users, confident that your records are secure and user information is tracked in compliance with HIPAA. Create libraries of contacts, personalized document templates, and macros to speed document distribution.

Choose your storage method. Use the MD-IT Platform to store digital documents or store them on your EMR system. The MD-IT Platform stores digital documents in a relational database. You can store any type of medical record or information on the platform for anytime, anywhere access. If your practice has an EMR system, completed documents can be loaded into your EMR system using HL7 data standards. Or use Complete to create documents directly within your EMR system.
